Description

This is a ruggedly built, highly accurate bench mounted pillar drill suitable for all round Trade workshop use. Fitted with a powerful cool running alloy bodied 375W motor to provide an adequate level of power. It also has an exceptionally accurate quill with the spindle running in SKF bearings to give a highly consistent drilling performance. Amongst the features which make it particularly suitable for many uses are the 3-13mm keyless chuck, the tiltable work table with 16mm T-slots and coolant gutter, cast iron down feed operating handles, a decent depth stop system and a T-slotted base for firmly securing large workpieces. Safety is catered for by the inclusion of an electrically interlocked chuck guard and belt cover, plus a front mounted NVR switch with an "E" stop cover. The choice of 12 speeds and a quality keyless chuck with an 80mm travel means that there is plenty of potential for some really heavy duty drilling. This is an excellent choice for the small or medium sized Trade workshop.
